BREW
Originally from the St. Ives Brewery established in Hobart in the late 1980s, this 15hl brewhouse now sits in a converted shearing shed on our farm. Having started brewing Two Metre Tall Real Ales from the original St Ives premises on a brew by brew basis in January 2006, we jumped at the opportunity to give her a new home and moved her up river in August 2008. We commenced brewing again in December of that year. Lagged with Celery Pine & copper, this brewhouse is a part of Tasmanian craft brewing history.
Our cidery is also a part of craft brewing history being the original small scale brewing equipment from the Rosevears Tavern in northern Tasmania. These tanks are lagged with the famous King Billy Pine.
